Topeka Public Schools honored 61 retirees during a banquet hosted by the Board of Education in May. The retirees: Janith L. Allen retires after 15 years as a media center paraprofessional at Capital City School.

The Writing Institute, a new institute based on proven classroom experiences, advanced writing tools and technology, and extensive research, is being co-produced by The Center for Performance Assessment and Vantage Learning.
