Even during tough economic times, a school districtâ€™s decision to cut support services aimed at helping Hispanic students and their families navigate through the public school system will prove to be a shortsighted one, especially given long-term demographic trends and the need for a highly educated workforce.
Scholars from the University of Granada, Spain, and the National University of Comahue, Argentina, designed an educational intervention program that achieved the integration of 100% of gypsy students in their Secondary School Centre, in the province of Granada.
