Air2Web Adds Media and Entertainment Veteran to Executive Team

Air2Web, a leading Mobile Marketing software-as-service company, has named media and entertainment industry veteran Bob Shavelson as Vice President of Media and Entertainment. Drawing upon his extensive experience, Shavelson will lead the company in business development strategy in the media and entertainment vertical for mobile marketing. His responsibilities will include identifying and creating new revenue opportunities, development and management of multi-platform distribution solutions, and the creation and execution of premium mobile content for major worldwide brands.

Most recently, Shavelson was Managing Director and Founder of Integrated Marketing Solutions, a creative consultancy that provided branded content and programming for all media platforms. Prior to that Shavelson was a Senior Vice President with Edelman Worldwide where his responsibilities included overseeing the Diversified Entertainment Services Division. Under his direction, the department provided video production, media planning, design and entertainment marketing strategies via all platforms (TV, Internet, Wireless, etc.) for all brand categories. Aside from working with virtually every broadcast and cable network, some of Shavelson's projects included designing programs for Microsoft Games & Discovery, Mutual of Omaha & Animal Planet, Microsoft At Home Site & A&E Network, and WE Network & Mobile Distribution.
