Time to Retreat

SO, SIR Mike Jackson, former head of the British Army and now retired, has just told the media that soldiers’ housing is not up to standard because not enough money has been spent on it. While serving, he told the media that retired officers should shut up as they were over the hill, past it and not in possession of up-todate information.

Every serving and retired serviceman saw him fail to stand up in public for the army while he had the chance to do so. They saw him destroy the Scottish regiments and cut infantry numbers by 10per cent. He should retreat to his affluent retirement and spare us the crocodile tears.
