Led Zeppelin Planning Reunion Concert

British rock group Led Zeppelin is preparing to reunite for its first concert in 19 years, the BBC reported Wednesday.

Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones, went their separate ways after drummer John Bonham died in 1980.

Bonham’s son, Jason, is expected to perform with the trio at the reunion at London’s O2 arena.

The concert is expected to coincide with the release of a greatest hits compilation, Mothership, due in stores Nov. 13.

Fans are thrilled about the historic reunion but worried tickets will sell out quickly or be too expensive for the average person to afford, the BBC said.

Who wants to join me sleeping outside the O2 until I can get a ticket? one devotee wrote in a message posted on the Internet. And if that doesn’t work, I can also sell myself into slavery, or if all of me is not wanted, I will auction off my blood, organs and all worldly possessions. Think I’m kidding?

Uncut magazine writer Chris Roberts told BBC Radio: A younger generation — as well as the people who might remember Led Zeppelin from the first time around — are very excited about this.
