Posted on: Monday, 15 October 2007, 12:00 CDT
CyberAlert, Inc. today announced the launch of CyberAlert Edcals, a comprehensive, up-to-date, easy-to-use, and low cost editorial calendars service for use by public relations (PR) professionals and media planners in researching media placement opportunities.
The CyberAlert EdCals (www.cyberalert.com/edcals.html) online database includes the media calendars of over 6,000 media sources in the U.S. and Canada including newspapers, consumer magazines, trade journals, and online publishers. The media calendar database contains over 300,000 media opportunities for story placement for the remainder of 2007 and into the first half of 2008.
CyberAlert is offering a full-featured Free Trial of the new CyberAlert EdCals service to media planners and public relations professionals in corporations, government agencies and not-for-profits organizations.
"CyberAlert Edcals provides precisely what PR professionals and media planners want -- a comprehensive, up-to-date editorial calendars database in an easy-to-use interface with a full set of search features including e-mail alerts and detailed information about each edcal opportunity for media planning and story placement," stated William J. Comcowich, President and CEO of CyberAlert.
At $499 per year for a single user license, the standard version of CyberAlert EdCals is priced substantially lower than the current list prices of the well-known media calendar services. CyberAlert EdCals is also available in an Enterprise Version with specialized networking features.
Said Comcowich: "With its unsurpassed database of placement opportunities, continual updating of data, and low price point, the new CyberAlert Edcals service takes all the pain out of researching editorial calendars for advertising or article placement opportunities, assuring media planners and PR professionals the greatest possible number of media placement opportunities. Compared to researching media calendars manually, CyberAlert Edcals is far more productive and cost effective."
While CyberAlert Edcals is a stand-alone product, it can be fully-integrated with CyberAlert's worldwide media monitoring and measurement services including CyberAlert 4.0 online news monitoring, CyberAlert TV broadcast news monitoring, BlogSquirrel blog monitoring service, Netpinions monitoring of message boards and forums and ClipMetrics, online media measurement, evaluation and analysis service.
