Florida-Based Weight-Loss Company Changes DNA of Its Clients and Local Food Banks

September 26, 2011

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Through the efforts of a recent month-long canned food drive, Florida-based weight-loss company Results Weight Loss contributed nearly $2,000 worth of canned goods to food banks in the communities its centers call home.

According to Results Weight Loss President Kristine Creely, the goal was to make a positive difference, both in the local communities her company serves and in the minds of its clients. Results Weight Loss accomplished just that by delivering more than 1,100 cans of food to community food banks this week.

“Our clients were happy to participate in our ExtravaCanza,” Creely says. “Through this food drive we were able to help hungry people in our communities, while also reinforcing with our clients the importance of making good food choices from moving from canned to fresh fruits and vegetables.”

Results Weight Loss places a strong focus on giving back and generally gives clients an incentive to donate items to food banks, local schools and other charitable causes on several occasions throughout the year.

During its 15 years in business, Results Weight Loss has shown more than 10,000 clients how to lose weight. Its DNA weight loss program matches clients’ genetic profiles to their own individualized eating plans. A Harvard study shows clients that use a genetic test as part of their diet planning can lose up to 2 1/2 times the weight and avoid the yo-yo dieting effect of other programs. Results Weight Loss has 20 locations throughout west Florida.
