MDC Partners Expands European Offering With Opening of Anomaly’s Amsterdam Office
NEW YORK, Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — MDC Partners (www.mdc-partners.com) announced today that member firm Anomaly has opened an office in Amsterdam. The move expands Anomaly’s micro-network and offers their clients a new approach to communications within the European arena. The agency already has thriving locations in New York and London.

The Amsterdam office will be headed by Hazelle Klonhammer, who assumes the position of Managing Director. Hazelle spent over a decade in Amsterdam at Wieden + Kennedy driving global brands including Microsoft, Nike, Heineken, Carlsberg, Electronic Arts, Vodafone and P&G. She has worked at 180, Modernista, TBWA-Campaign Amsterdam, Grey Amsterdam and Amirati Puris Lintas in Sydney. Also leading the vision of the new office will be agency partner, Richard Mulder, who was born and raised in Amsterdam and will be taking special interest in the office. Mulder spent 11 years at Nike managing brand communications in Europe, the US and the Asia-Pacific region based in the Dutch capital and Portland, USA. Amongst other notable creative work, Richard invented the yellow LiveStrong bracelet for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
The opening of Anomaly’s Amsterdam office follows on the heels of MDC member agency, CP+B significantly expanding their European presence with new offices and top tier creative talent and the recent opening of London offices for MDC Public Relations firms Kwittken & Co and Allison & Partners.
