Familia Camarena(TM) Tequila Continues Marketing Partnership With Orlando Magic
ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Familia Camarena Tequila announced today that the company will continue its marketing sponsorship of the Orlando Magic. The Magic’s Christmas Day season opener at Oklahoma City tips off Familia Camarena Tequila’s second season as a sponsor of the Orlando-based National Basketball Association franchise. Second year terms maintain in-arena brand exposure and English and Spanish in-game radio broadcasts during the 2011-12 regular season at the Amway Center.
“Familia Camarena Tequila’s inaugural year with the Magic was an exciting foray into the Florida market for the brand,” said Gerard Thoukis, Director of Marketing for Camarena. “We embrace the opportunity to continue positive momentum and exposure with the only team in the “big four” sports leagues to play in the city of Orlando and look forward to many more great seasons with the Magic.”
“We are pleased to continue our relationship with Familia Camarena Tequila,” said Chip Bowers, Orlando Magic Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing. “The 2010-11 season was an exciting year of new beginnings for us, from the opening of Amway Center to the start of our new partnership with Familia Camarena Tequila. We look forward to another exciting season with Familia Camarena Tequila at the Amway Center, home of the 2012 NBA All-Star game.”
Less than two years old, Familia Camarena Tequila’s professional sports marketing strategy has followed suit with the brand’s more than double-digit growth since its inception in 2010. Announcement of Familia Camarena Tequila’s continued partnership with the Magic coincides with sponsorship agreements with six Major League Baseball clubs, four National Football League teams and one other National Basketball Association team this year.
