Big Picture Produces Award-Winning Campaign
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — A unique promotional campaign developed by Big Picture Communications has earned a longtime agency client top marketing honors. In the only results-based marketing competition in the Pittsburgh area, the American Marketing Association’s Pittsburgh chapter selected Uniontown Hospital as Marketer of the Year in the Medical and Healthcare category.

This year’s strategy was the My Perfect Doc website and promotional campaign. MyPerfectDoc.com allows prospective patients to get to know Uniontown Hospital physicians, both professionally and personally, through profile videos, a Q&A, and physician blog posts. The site also includes an online scheduling option for some physicians.
The multi-media campaign including television, outdoor, newspaper, banner, point-of-purchase, and direct mail drove traffic to the website. Compared to goals established before the campaign launch, visitors viewed nearly three times as many pages and spent more than double the amount of time on the site. The top-ranking physician had more than 2,000 visits to his profile page.
