NCAE Press Conference on General Assembly Action Scheduled for 3 p.m. Today

RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Just after 1 a.m. this morning, the General Assembly voted to eliminate payroll dues deduction for the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE). This vote overrode Governor Perdue’s veto of this legislation in July of last year.

NCAE President Sheri Strickland will hold a press conference today to discuss NCAE’s response to this action against the Association, the state’s largest voice for public school educators.
