First Annual Mighty Mighty Micro Brew Festival on Pittsburgh’s North Side on March 31st
PITTSBURGH, March 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The North Side/North Shore Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the First Annual Mighty Mighty Micro Brew Festival hosted in the beautiful banquet room of Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino on Saturday, March 31st. This one-day event will showcase local Brew Masters within a 3-hour driving distance of Pittsburgh. Many craft brewers will be available to answer questions about their favorite award-winning recipes. Attendees can sample some of the finest beer in the tri-state area, including a large selection of seasonal and specialty beers. Two sessions are available: 12:30 to 3:30 p.m, and 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. In addition to fine craft beer samples, admission price includes hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, free indoor parking subject to availability, entertainment, and $10 slots credit at Rivers Casino.
Rivers Casino, a member of the North Side/North Shore Chamber, is excited to host this event. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will benefit Northside Common Ministries (NCM), a non-sectarian, community-based organization established in 1982 by a collation of 30 local churches to meet the increasing needs of the homeless population.
The North Side/North Shore Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1897 and is committed to fostering a climate that promotes, maintains and enhances business activities in the community while taking pride in keeping the neighborhood viable and strong.
