One Mighty Roar Launches YouRather.com, Your Newest Internet Addiction
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Digital media agency, One Mighty Roar, launched their socially addicting website and downloadable app, YouRather.com, today.
One Mighty Roar’s website, inspired by an hour long “Would you rather” debate, puts disputable scenarios up against each other allowing you to decide which you’d rather do. It then provides quick stats on how the rest of the world voted, allowing you enough information to question your own decisions.
You Rather is the first One Mighty Roar (OMR) product to be accessible across 3 platforms with applications on the web, iOS, and Android. Currently, the app is offered across these platforms for free (ad-supported) and without ads for 99 cents. The program received an overwhelming response during its soft launch with 5 million page views in just one month.
“On some level it’s interesting that you can ask someone a question, debate with them, and then see what the general public has to say. There have been plenty of questions which have surprised me and made me reevaluate why it might actually be better to own a light saber than a helper monkey,” -Sam Dunn, Co-Founder and Creative Director of OMR.
The website offers an interactive spin allowing users to submit their own questions as well as comment below specific questions.
In addition to this launch, One Mighty Roar has taken on other notable projects including their recent work with the 2012 Hyundai Veloster. The agency developed and released a modern element to the radio-frequency identification technology (RFID) during the Veloster ReMix Lab event. One Mighty Roar’s environment, appropriately coined “Buzz Band,” used scannable bracelet-like bands to track and analyze consumer behaviors and demographics during the events.
