McClenahan Bruer Communications Adds Fresh Talent to Creative Team

PORTLAND, Ore., March 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — McClenahan Bruer Communications (McBru), a full-service, marketing communications agency for technology business-to-business companies, has added two experienced professionals to its creative team. These new hires expand the depth and breadth of the agency’s conceptual, design and writing services for McBru’s growing roster of global technology clients.

As Art Director, Leigh Brooks leads McBru’s design team and is in charge of visual and interactive design concepts, execution and processes. Leigh brings more than a dozen years of experience in art and design to McBru. He has worked at major agencies across the country, including BBDO, Chiat\Day, Hal Riney and Publicis. He has designed for such global corporations as Apple, HP, Saturn, Oracle, T-Mobile, and Schlage. A native of New Mexico, Leigh received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art/Graphic Design from Louisiana State University.

Senior writer Bill McRae comes to McBru with more than 25 years experience in journalism, travel writing, technical marketing, and corporate communications. Bill began writing for Microsoft in 1994, and has worked for the software giant both as a contractor and as senior writer at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. He has written for other leading high tech companies including Alcatel, SAP, Mentor Graphics, WebCriteria, and Intel, and has written non-technical materials for such publishers as Lonely Planet, Frommers, and National Geographic. A Montana native, Bill has an MA from the University of Kent, England, in Modern European Literature.
