Carpe Diem Shines at Boat Show Preview Party
MIAMI BEACH, Fla., March 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – On Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, IYC (International Yacht Collection), South Florida Opulence Magazine and Malinka Productions hosted Scarlet Sails Night, an exclusive preview of the 191 ft yacht Carpe Diem prior to its display at the Miami Beach International Boat Show. Set aboard the glamorous vessel at IYC’s exhibit on Collins Avenue, the Russian themed affair celebrated the grandeur of the mega yacht luxury lifestyle for a select group of VIPs.
“The Miami Boat Show is one of the top events this season and we are proud to offer a preview of its finest yacht, Carpe Diem, exclusively for our VIPs,” said Mark Blackburn, Publisher of South Florida Opulence Magazine. “And because of the growth and influence that the Russian community is experiencing in Miami, we decided to host the event exclusively for their top industry leaders and delight them with the best of their country: fine caviar, haute cuisine, vodka, traditional music and high fashion.”
Some of the 150 VIPs that attended the event included Miami Socialite Malinka Max, Fisher Island resident and owner of ASR Interiors Cedrik Denain, the owners of Trinity Yachts, board members from luxury condo Murano Portofino, and IYC broker John Ciullo, who were greeted by Russian folk dancers in their traditional dresses and were wowed by the splendor of the Carpe Diem while enjoying the best Russian haute cuisine, caviar canapes, ice-cold Vodka cocktails provided by Russian Standard Platinum and fine fashion by The Fur Salon at Saks Bal Harbour.
The event was the first partnership between 3 dynamic companies that are experts in tapping into the highly sought after and hard to reach world of high net worth individuals: IYC, the global brand with expertise in all aspects of presenting the luxury yachting lifestyle to discerning clientele, South Florida Opulence Magazine, the luxury lifestyle publication for luxury condominium owners, and Malinka Productions, founded by Miami socialite and global jetsetter Malinka Max.
