Play It Rock is a captivatingly sexy yet ultra-feminine fragrance built around an exotic floral bouquet intertwined with sweet and spicy edible notes.
At the opening, the juicy energy of blood orange encounters the sugary addiction of apple candy. This is touched by the alluring temperament of saffron, which gives a crimson twist on top before melting into the floral heart. Here, a sexy femininity blooms thanks to sun-kissed orange flower and luscious passion flower, which are wrapped in sultry frangipani, provoking a bewitching allure. Eventually, the mysterious and contrasting signature is revealed. Voluptuous patchouli and black ebony are hypnotised by succulent vanilla and distinctive fleur de cuir, for a rockin’ personality.
The rock ‘n roll persona of Play It Rock is reflected in the edgy yet undeniably chic packaging. Like the rest of the Playboy For Women fragrance range, Play It Rock is presented in a box adorned with the iconic Playboy Rabbit Head. This time, however, the Bunny is silver studded for an ultra-cool rock look. The rest of the carton is covered with a red snake leather-like pattern that evokes a glam rock star’s wardrobe. Echoing the rest of the range, the feminine, boudoir-inspired fragrance bottle is voluptuously shaped like the famous Rabbit Head. The bottle is topped by a cap shaped like the legendary Playboy Bunny Ears and completed with a bow-tie around the neck. For an extra touch of rock ‘n’ roll glamour, the cap is coloured a dramatic eye-catching crimson. Beautifully complementing this fierce colour-scheme, the juice inside the bottle is tinted light red.
Rockin’ Advertising Campaign
The sexy, confident aura of Play It Rock is captured in the exciting television and print advertising campaign. The TV ad is set in an edgy underground club where an intimate rock concert is taking place. A stunning glam-rock Playboy girl enters, spots the band’s hot lead singer and sensually sprays herself with Play It Rock. On a mission, she walks boldly to the stage, the in-awe crowd parting to let her pass. The singer is totally seduced and upstaged by her alluring presence. Without hesitation, the girl grabs the singer by the hand and they stage-dive together towards the exit.
An extract from the TV ad, the print advertisement depicts a moment when the girl and singer are crowd-surfing. Locked in a steamy embrace, the couple are seen being carried over the crowd’s heads. The image is very sensual, very cool and very rock ‘n’ roll.
