In March 2012, Gamasutra broke the 4 million monthly pageview mark for the first time since the website launched in 1997. This milestone represents a 21 percent year-on-year pageview increase. Overall, the site saw unique visitors grow 35 percent year-on-year in March to a record 1.2 million – more than double that of any industry website competitor.
