MMA Fighter Competing for a Cause in Friday’s Semi Final Fight
CLEVELAND, April 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Most Americans may not think of MMA or Mixed Martial Arts fighting as a platform to help advance social issues. One fighter, however, has decided to use all of his skills in order to help others. Brian Rogers is a kind-hearted elementary school special needs teacher by day who becomes Brian “The Predator” Rogers, the Bellator MMA fighter, by night.
One of Brian’s goals is to use the platform that he grows in his MMA career to help advance social causes. Last month’s quarter final victory by a flying knee knockout has helped to propel this rising star even further. Since that fight Brian has given anti-bullying speeches at local schools and has also advanced the “Light It Up Blue” autism awareness campaign during an interview about his “Flying Knee Knockout” on ESPN.
Brian’s background in special needs education and his platform as a Bellator MMA fighter have led him to becoming a partner in ICE Block Limited, the company that produces the revolutionary new six pack cooler the ICE Block Cooler(TM). The inventors of the ICE Block Cooler(TM) designed their product to “Light It Up Blue” in honor of their six-year-old son’s journey towards beating autism.
The ICE Block Cooler(TM) is a cooler design that fits in your freezer or fridge and features a cool blue glow when the power is turned on. It is filled with a thermal freezing gel that is sealed into the body of the cooler. Place any common beverage into the cooler and it will lightly grip the container and keep cold in. Amazingly, it keeps drinks like soda and beer even colder than ice right down to their freezing point of 28F. One look at this new party cooler that was a target product featured in the Walmart “Get on the shelf” contest and you will see that it is the coolest cooler around both literally and figuratively. http://www.iceblockcooler.com/
The ICE Block Cooler(TM) is rolling out next month just in time for summer, but you can get an early glimpse of it during this Friday’s Bellator Middleweight Semifinal bout between Brian Rogers and Andreas Spang. The match will be broadcast live on MTV2 at 8:00pm ET. Pre-order now at http://www.iceblockcooler.com/solution.php.
