Let’s Hear Midem 2013
PARIS, April 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – midem today announces the first-ever international song pitching competition to find an original soundtrack for its 2013 video trailers and worldwide marketing campaign. Held in partnership with SoundCloud, the competition’s submission process is now open and closes on Sunday 20 May 2012.
The selected musical track will be used as the cornerstone of midem 2013′s sound strategy and featured in corporate communications as well as mainstream marketing. Submitted tracks should be original creations, acoustic or electronic, instrumental or featuring voices with a dynamic, cool and joyful spirit. Tracks should last 2’30″ minimum and be uploaded on SoundCloud in .wav format before Sunday 20 May. The first 10 participants will receive a free one-year SoundCloud Lite account.
The winning artist will have his name copyrighted at the end of each midem video trailer and will be offered two free registrations for midem 2013, as well as a free one-year SoundCloud Pro account. In addition to the visibility gained on the midem marketing channels (newsletter, midemblog, social media), the winning track will be heard by a wide audience of music industry leaders, including music supervisors and advertising agencies.
The 47th edition of midem will take place on 26-29 January 2013 in Cannes, France.
