StrawberryFrog Takes Home Two Yellow Pencils At The D&AD

NEW YORK, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Jim Beam + StrawberryFrog took won two Yellow Pencils at the prestigious D&AD Awards at the end of April 2012.

Familiarly known as the ‘Yellow Pencils,’ the D&AD is one of the most internationally respected and prestigious creative awards for the design and advertising industry.

Each year a select few brands are celebrated for brilliance in commercial creativity. Yellow Pencils were presented at a gala ceremony in London before thousands of guests last week.

On the very rare occasion that a piece of work breaks the mold or sets a new standard of excellence in creativity, the Black Pencil is awarded.

StrawberryFrog and its client Jim Beam will be showcased in the D&AD Annual & Showreel for 2012.

StrawberryFrog won the two Yellow Pencils for its work on reenergizing the iconic Jim Beam brand with “Bold Choice” featuring Willem Defoe, directed by Dante Ariola and produced by MJZ.
