AWBL, a subsidiary of Godfather Media, Inc., announces acquisition agreement for Territory
MISSION VIEJO, Calif., May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Godfather Media, Inc. (OTC: GFMD) is pleased to announce the signing of an acquisition agreement between its subsidiary American West Baseball League (AWBL) and DC Sports And Entertainment, LLC for the Long Beach-South Bay, California Territory.
DC Sports & Entertainment, LLC, a Nevada Limited Liability Company, was formed for the sole purpose of providing affordable family entertainment in the form of Professional Minor League Baseball. The group is made up of several businessmen from various industries such as Real Estate, Finance, Professional Sports and various entrepreneurs who all have the same vision, to finally write the good chapter of Independent Minor League Baseball on the West Coast.
Founding Member and CEO Nicholas Desrosiers fronts the group. He comes from a background that includes real estate, finance and business advisory services. His most recent position was in Connecticut with Silk City Ventures, LLC – a full service business advisory firm where he and his colleagues worked on the sale, financing and development of several professional sports teams and leagues across the country.
