PAA Announces Patient Advocacy Support Group
SUMMIT, N.J., May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Pulmonary and Allergy Associates of Summit, Cedar Knolls, Livingston, Millburn, Newark and Hackettstown announced that it will be co-sponsoring a COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) patient advocacy and support group on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
Patients and family members who have been impacted or diagnosed with COPD, Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis or any other lung disease are welcome to the meeting. A patient advocacy coordinator and Alpha 1 Deficiency specialist from global healthcare company CSL Behring will be making a presentation and available to answer questions. Healthcare company Grinfols Pharmaceuticals is also co-sponsoring the event.
