Front Line Strategies Team Member Deploys To Scott Walker Race
MILWAUKEE, Wis., May 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Front Line Strategies consultant Matt Langston arrives in Wisconsin this evening to help Republican Governor Scott Walker in his recall election. Langston, who started with Front Line in January, returns to familiar territory. In 2010, he managed all events, travel, and press activities in the U.S. Senate race of Ron Johnson, whose successful upstart candidacy unseated the long time incumbent Democrat, Russ Feingold.
“Matt Langston and the entire Walker campaign are on a critically important mission,” said Brett Doster, President of Front Line Strategies. “The pundits are looking to Wisconsin for a sign to understand which party has the momentum going into November. While the race does carry significance on that level, what is truly at stake is economic freedom for the people of Wisconsin. Gov. Walker has shown great courage in his stand for jobs and sound labor policy, and conservatives everywhere should support his leadership however we can.”
Langston will spend the final week of the campaign in the Badger State, focusing on campaign activities in the Fox River Valley, which runs from Milwaukee to Green Bay.
“I’m excited to return to Wisconsin and to help Governor Walker, who is truly on the front lines of the fight for free markets instead of free lunches,” said Matt Langston. “Our conservative values are under assault in Wisconsin. I’m honored to be on the team.”
Front Line Strategies, headquartered in Tallahassee, Fla., continues to expand operations into other states, with active efforts underway in Ohio and Wisconsin. Other political clients in the 2012 election cycle include Romney for President, Connie Mack for U.S. Senate, Wilton Simpson for State Senate, and Mike Weinstein for State Senate. During the Presidential primary, members of Front Line deployed to Iowa and Ohio. Matt Langston is a graduate of Baylor University; holds a Masters in Applied American Politics and Policy from Florida State University; and has worked in the White House, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
