Watch Game Four Of The 2012 Stanley Cup® Final With The Great Canadian Lager And The Great One Himself!

May 31, 2012

CHICAGO, May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Molson, Gretzky, MacLean – all names that evoke great hockey memories and represent the highest quality Canadian imports the U.S. has ever known. Serve them up together during the Stanley Cup® Final between the Los Angeles Kings® and the New Jersey Devils®, add in your own hockey-crazed buddies and you get the best Game Four-watching, beer-drinking, charity-benefiting party you could ever shake a stick at.

Molson Canadian, the official imported beer of the NHL®, is inviting fans 21 and older to take their hockey fandom to the next level by giving them the chance to bid on a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch Game Four with an NHL® great as the Kings® and the Devils® battle for Lord Stanley’s Cup®! Not only does the experience include talking shop with a hockey legend while enjoying the definitive Canadian lager, Molson Canadian, but the winning bidder will also receive travel and accommodations for themselves and three of their legal drinking age-friends as well as complimentary food and beverages to enjoy during the game – all for a good cause. The auctions can be found at www.molsoncanadianauction.com.

All of the proceeds of the auction will benefit the National Hockey League Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the NHL® and supports organizations and programs aimed at youths, which extend the core values of the game – commitment, perseverance and teamwork. The NHL® Foundation – through Hockey Fights Cancer, Hockey is for Everyone and NHL Green – is committed to social and environmental responsibility initiatives that preserve and protect the roots of the game, while expanding access to the sport and fighting a disease that continues to affect the greater hockey community.

“Molson Canadian and greats like Wayne Gretzky and John MacLean are true symbols of the best of Canada,” said Tom Henehan, Molson Canadian brand manager. “During the most exciting time of the hockey season, we wanted to bring a few lucky fans together with either “The Great One” or John MacLean to enjoy a cold Molson Canadian while watching a Stanley Cup® Final game — all while raising money for the National Hockey League Foundation.”
