With the partnership, My Pool Pal products will now be available in three different TrueTimber camouflage patterns, including: XD3; Conceal Brown; and Snowfall Pink. My Pool Pal products, which will be available in these TrueTimber patterns and colors, include: flotation swimsuits, swim diapers, swim diaper sets, and sun protection for children.

In addition, the partnership calls for a large portion of My Pool Pal products to be manufactured at TrueTimber facilities in Inman, S.C. This has allowed My Pool Pal to bring outsourced jobs back to the United States.

“We are honored to be able to partner with a company like My Pool Pal,” said Rusty Sellars, founder of TrueTimber. “They are trendsetters who have made a difference in many people’s lives with their product and, now through the partnership, we can lend an outdoors feel to their products. We’re also thrilled to be able to assist in the manufacturing of My Pool Pal products to help return jobs back to our country, the state of South Carolina and the city of Inman.”

“TrueTimber is a phenomenal brand that we’re pleased to be associated with,” said Patti Gilmer, founder of My Pool Pal. “Their patterns, products and process are unique and will lend great options for My Pool Pal customers who love camouflage. In addition, we are overjoyed to be able to return a portion of our manufacturing process back to the United States. With this agreement, our entire product line will once again be 100 percent ‘made in the U.S.A.’”

About My Pool Pal

My Pool Pal’s mission is to provide confidence, fun and peace of mind during water activities. Patti Gilmer and Pam Thomas, sisters and owners of a children’s apparel store in Gainesville Ga., started the company after growing tired of seeing their customers and friends’ children using blow-up arm bands, inner tubes or oversized life jackets as a swimming/teaching aid for their children.

My Pool Pal launched the first and original line of patented flotation swimwear in 1992. In 1993, the company added Swimsters® swim diaper-related products to its line, in addition to other accessory items such as sun suits and sun hats. In 1994, they added the Special Needs products to its line as a result of parents and adults requesting suits that would fit their handicapped child or themselves.

Since then, My Pool Pal has also added Aqua Force to the line. After over a 3 1/2-year period of evaluation by Underwriters Laboratories and testing against stringent Coast Guard standards, Aqua Force became the first product of its type to receive USCG approval in the newly created category of “Swimwear Flotation Device.” Aqua Force is classified as a Type V Special Purpose Device, meeting carriage requirements for a Type III Flotation Aid.
