John took over his father’s business after he passed in 1990. Claude Steen spent a lot of his time tinkering in his garage. When his wife complained about the shortcomings of hair coloring applicators, Claude went to his workshop for a solution. Claude passed away a few years after his original design, but Susan & Bonnie have turned his idea into a booming business with help from SCORE. George Chatzopoulos came to this country in 1989. His first job was working in a restaurant with his father. George spent fourteen years learning every aspect of the restaurant business with his father at his side. In 2003 George took what his father taught him and turned it into his first Chips restaurant. With the help of his SCORE mentors, George opened a second Chips location.
