Celebrate a sizzling July 4th on the refreshing river of Nantahala Outdoor Center

NOC’s Sizzling 4(th) of July celebration features whitewater rafting, sales on gear apparel and footwear, the new Zip Line Adventure Park, Alpine Tower climbing, great food, live music and brew tasting!

Cool off with a family-friendly raft trip down the scenic, cool Nantahala River or take a kayak tour on beautiful Lake Fontana. For thrill-seekers, take advantage of the recently opened Nantahala Zip Line Adventure Park that offers an invigorating half-day recreation option in addition to white water rafting for guests visiting the Western North Carolina mountains. Additional outdoor activities include bike rentals, convenient access to hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail, and plenty of onshore entertainment.
