CHANTILLY, Va., July 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Germane Systems, a designer and manufacturer of rugged computer systems and servers, has announced that Kerry O’Brien, CEO and president, will be a guest on a weekly talk radio show for Executive Leader Radio (ELR) on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. on WNEW, 1580 AM. The show will be rebroadcast on Sunday, July 29 at 9 a.m. on WFED, 1500 AM.

O’Brien will cover the growth of Germane Systems from its early days as a home-based business to its status today as a privately held company and global industry leader.

Germane Systems began as a small business focused on providing training courses for communication companies and building computers. The business has grown, changing its main purpose to the manufacture of custom ruggedized computers, storage systems and servers for military and industrial clients. It now occupies a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Northern Virginia.

The Big Talker 1580 AM, WNEW, broadcasts ELR as a weekly show in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area, and from Pennsylvania to Northern Virginia, to provide listeners with a sense of “what makes success” through the eyes of four local CEOs during the hour-long segment. The show will also be provided by webcast at www.executiveleadersradio.com.
