C-leveled Partners With Get The HookUp to Build SmartPhone App; Launches IndieGoGo Crowd Funding Campaign

August 12, 2012

Get The HookUp is an interactive real-time marketplace for smartphone users. Enabled by GPS technology, Get The HookUp allows one to quickly buy and sell tickets to any event based on proximity. C-leveled, headquartered in Pittsburgh, completes development of app, available in marketplace in September.

We have all been in a situation where you are with a group of friends or family, and at the last minute you are trying to go to a concert, game, or the big event only to have your plans change. You need an extra ticket?! Where do you turn?! You know people are there selling tickets. How do you find them? How do you know what to pay? And vice versa. Currently your options are to wander around a parking lot, risk getting ripped off, eating the ticket, or just not going at all.

“We have all experienced the last minute ticket search and Get The Hook Up is developing a solution. After dealing with this yet again last season, we are more determined than ever to find an answer for everyone,” said Levi Benson, Founder of Get The Hookup (GTHU). “Over the last few months, we have studied and learned how to become a development team — taking a napkin idea, to becoming a real viable option.”

The project is titled Get The HookUp and it is an application that will be used on smart phones — available in September in both Apple and Google markets. It is an app that will create a marketplace for people to be able to find each other — hook up, to buy and sell what they have and what they need, all done in real time and on location.

The IndieGoGo, crowd-funding program will allow GTHU to develop the demo system, and bring us closer to the marketplace. There are multiple perks available for those that participate on IndieGoGo and they are sure to get you the HookUp!
