Teixeira has been with Calypso for the past four years, during which he has led the agency’s creative team and served as account lead on numerous client campaigns, resolving clients’ advertising, branding, and multimedia needs. Teixeira creates original graphics, effective layouts for web and print, and dynamic video, combining traditional as well as emerging media. With this promotion, Teixeira formalizes the growing role he has taken in setting the creative direction for the agency.
Teixeira’s skill-set spans global companies in the entertainment, retail, and banking sectors, where he has created film, licensing, and marketing tools in various mediums. His 15 years of brand strategy and creative concept experience have fostered a track record of award-winning design that provides a strong ROI. Prior to joining Calypso Communications, Teixeira worked in creative roles at The Gillette Company, Creative Branding Group, and Paramount Pictures, as well as running his own business, Mike Teixeira Creative Services.
Teixeira earned his B.A. from Emerson College and is the organizer of PechaKucha Portsmouth, an artistic networking forum for creative professionals.
