Esurance Offers Tennis Fans A Way To Change The Game At The US Open

FLUSHING, N.Y., Aug. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal car insurance company, is bringing game-changing thinking to the US Open — and giving visitors a chance to get involved.

At the Esurance booth, located on the Southside of Arthur Ashe Stadium, near court 13, visitors will have the chance to take part in Esurance’s “Game Changer” campaign in which Esurance is donating $50,000 to USTA Serves, and make a difference for at-risk kids. By voting for one of two worthwhile charities on specially prepared digital tablets, US Open attendees will do their part to help USTA Serves determine the distribution to each of the programs based on the percentage of votes received.

Additionally, visitors can use the tablets to enter the Esurance Game Changer Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for two to the 2013 US Open, courtesy of Esurance.*

Fans can also use the tablets to take photos of themselves “with the Bryan brothers” and instantly share them in a customized Esurance Facebook gallery and on their personal Facebook and Twitter pages. Fans who have their photo taken will receive a promotional item.

Visitors won’t miss the massive nine-screen digital wall at the Esurance booth. Roughly 18 feet wide and seven-and-a-half feet tall, the video wall delivers a unique digital experience that includes:

  • US Open Highlights – US Open highlights from the previous day’s matches
  • Photo display — Fans can view photos from the tablets on the big screen.
  • Esurance Game Changer voting results – a record of which charity is in the lead for their share of Esurance’s $50,000 donation to USTA Serves.

Tennis fans also have the opportunity to get up close to pro athletes and collect player autographs at the Esurance booth during select sessions.

Finally, Esurance aims to elevate the fan experience beyond the booth by sponsoring the night session at Arthur Ashe Stadium at 7 p.m. EDT on August 31, 2012.
