LeapFrog Unveils Reduced Price For Original #1 Learning Tablet LeapPad1

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: LF), the leader in educational entertainment, today announced a reduction of the price for the #1 learning tablet LeapPad1 to a MSRP of $79.99. Launched in the summer of 2011, LeapPad1 quickly became the most sought-after holiday product, topping the wish lists of children around the world and winning more than 20 awards including the prestigious Toy of the Year award from the Toy Industry Association.

Building on the success of LeapPad1, LeapFrog just launched LeapPad2 at a MSRP of $99.99. The new LeapPad2 brings new features that are not found in the original LeapPad1: new front-and-back cameras and video recorders, double the on-board memory (4GB), longer battery life and a new recharger pack option that allows more play time on the go.
