LORETTO, Ky., Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Acclaim Press®, the award-winning independent publisher, today announced the release of The Ambassador of Bourbon: Maker’s Mark and the Rebirth of America’s Native Spirit, a visual depiction of the Maker’s Mark® Bourbon brand. Featuring photography of the famous distillery at the Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky from the lens of master photographer David Toczko, The Ambassador of Bourbon flawlessly conveys the story of the iconic Kentucky bourbon’s celebrated history.
“I wanted to capture the visual beauty of the distillery throughout the seasons to showcase what makes Maker’s Mark…Maker’s Mark,” explains David Toczko, the photographer and editor of The Ambassador of Bourbon. “Using imagery to help tell the story of what sets Maker’s Mark apart and what is so special and unique about the distillery was my goal from the outset.”
David Toczko will be at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown, Kentucky on Friday September 14(th) to sign copies of his newest book. He will be joined by eighth generation distiller and Chief Operating Officer Rob Samuels for a book signing at the Star Hill Farm distillery on September 15(th) from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Additional book signings will be held in Kentucky throughout the remainder of the year.
“David truly captures the essence and beauty of the distillery and my family’s history,” states Maker’s Mark Chairman Emeritus Bill Samuels Jr. “Each and every photograph chosen for the book is a story within itself.”
