In honor of National Beads of Courage Bead Challenge Day and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, bead enthusiasts and the public are invited to create their own beaded jewelry and to come and cheer on the artists who make beads for the Beads of Courage Program.
“We are grateful for Expressive Glass and artists, like Vicki Schneider, for their continued support of the Beads of Courage program,” Baruch said. “Through the Beads of Courage Program children coping with serious illness receive a strong dose of narrative medicine that helps them cope with their challenging treatment journey.”
