Just in Time for Hunting Season… Outdoor Channel Teams Up with Dick’s Sporting Goods to Kick Off Its 6th Annual Gear Up and Go! Sweepstakes

    WHAT:   As outdoorsmen and women prepare for the 2012-2013 hunting
            season, Outdoor Channel has teamed up with Dick's Sporting
            Goods to launch its sixth annual Gear Up and Go! sweepstakes,
            officially dubbed "Outdoor Channel's Gear Up and Go!
            Sweepstakes presented by Dick's Sporting Goods." The
            nationwide promotion, which runs during the entire month of
            October, aims to ring in the season by offering loyal Outdoor
            Channel viewers the chance to win daily prizes, in addition
            to one ultimate grand prize.

    HOW:    By way of on-air TV spots and social media marketing, Outdoor
            Channel will encourage viewers throughout October to enter
            the sweepstakes via www.OutdoorChannel.com. From the main
            site, entrants can click through to a dedicated Gear Up and
            Go! microsite, which features a full listing of the prizes
            that are up for grabs.

            Prizes include rifle scopes and optics, in addition to hunting
            tools, apparel and accessories furnished by notable
            participating brands and Outdoor Channel advertisers, such
            as: BSA Optics, Laser Genetics, Midland Radio, Nosler, Otis
            Technology, Pelican ProGear, Primos, Russell Outdoors, Scent-
            Lok, Streamlight, Under Armour and Wildgame Innovations. Also
            among the giveaways are prize packs and gift cards worth
            thousands of dollars from the title sponsor, Dick's Sporting
            Goods, including products from "Driven TV with Pat & Nicole,"
            "Bone Collector" and Field & Stream packages.

    WHY:    Designed to drum up excitement for enthusiasts that have been
            eagerly awaiting the chance to head to the fields, Gear Up
            and Go! is also meant to fuel local ad sales efforts by
            generating viewer engagement and added audience interest, as
            well as drive new affiliate opportunities. More than 150
            participating cable systems nationwide - one third of Outdoor
            Channel's total affiliate base, representing more than 16
            million subscribers, have signed on for the promotion.
