Former Pepsi, Kraft Marketer to Head Prophet’s Customer Insights Team
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Jill Orum, a marketing professional with over 20 years experience using innovative research and insights methods to drive business growth, has joined Prophet as a partner.
Working from Prophet’s Chicago office, she will lead the firm’s Insights group, partnering with project teams to ensure that customer insights are integral to the way client work is informed and delivered.

She spent the majority of her career – from 1991 to 2008 – developing that portfolio of experiences at Kraft in a variety of insights-oriented positions and market contexts on a national and global basis. Most recently, she was senior director of consumer insights and strategy for the Global Nutrition Group of Pepsico, a new unit, where she gained broad exposure to the latest insight approaches, technologies, and vendor trends.
From 2008 to 2011, Orum headed business development and strategy for boutique marketing consultancy NuVista Strategies, helping to drive revenue growth in client organizations and doubling revenues at NuVista itself.
Orum holds her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
She and her family reside in Northbrook, Ill.
