February 4, 2013

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The Digital Development Group Corp. (OTCBB: DIDG) (Digidev), a Los Angeles, California based Internet TV content acquisition and distribution company, announces the selection of The Placemaking Group for PR services. Placemaking Group will handle Digidev’s media relations, marketing collateral and speaker placement.

“We’re at the forefront in the over-the-top TV (OTT) space, a rapidly growing, dynamic industry,” says Joe Q. Bretz, Digidev president. “We’re looking to Placemaking Group to make Digidev a well-known brand by communicating about our business and our existing channels of eclectic content that includes ‘Something Weird,’ ‘Silent Films,’ as well as new channels we will continually be rolling out.”

Digidev’s channel operates under digidev.tv, http://www.digidev.tv, and currently has five channels available online and on Roku, with other Internet enabled devices rolling out next quarter.

Bretz’s connection to Placemaking Group dates back to 2008 when the firm provided PR services for Q Black Media, a San Francisco-based independent film production and entertainment company that he headed up. Bretz worked with Placemaking Group’s CEO Dennis Erokan in the 1980′s as producer of the California Music Awards 25(th) Anniversary Show, of which Erokan was executive producer.

“I look forward to promoting Digidev and Joe’s innovative and forward-thinking ideas and successes,” says Placemaking Group’s Erokan. “Digidev’s vision is above and beyond Google Play, YouTube and others such as Netflix.”
