**YogoSport Announces Launch of Kickstarter Campaign**

February 13, 2013

BETHSEDA, Md., Feb 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — YogoSport exuberantly announces the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to fund the revolutionary YogoSport brand YogoMat. The Kickstarter will not only fund the first round of product production, but will ultimately benefit people with spinal cord injuries. YogoSport plans to donate 5% of proceeds raised from the first round of YogoMats to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and Next Step Fitness that offer support to those suffering the effects of spinal cord injuries.

YogoSport comes to the marketplace with an exceptional backstory. Founder Ryon Lane suffered a spinal cord injury in 2008, which in a twist of fate is what lead him to discover yoga, and ultimately completely recover all physical ability. A life long runner, Lane soon wanted to take his yoga practice on the road but had trouble finding the proper tools to support this desire. “Yoga became one of the most important long-term factors in my recovery, only I couldn’t find a yoga mat that was both eco-friendly and very portable. This is why I designed and created the unique strapping system on YogoMat,” said Lane.

The YogoMat’s unique design is extremely lightweight at less than two pounds, has a patented strapping system, and unique fold so that the practice surface remains hygienic when using away from home. Its conveniently built-in strapping system secures the YogoMat to one’s back, allowing the owner to bike, run, or walk without noticing it is there. The mat is full-sized, easy to wash, and 100% recyclable. YogoMats will be available in a multitude of fashionable and on-trend colors, appealing to a wide audience of active yogis.

The YogoSport Kickstarter campaign was created to fund production of the already highly desired YogoMat. The Campaign will launch on February 7(th) and run 30 days. Lane is hoping to raise $36,000 and feels confident that the campaign will be beyond successful. YogoSport intends to generously reward it’s biggest supporters for their pledges and is currently building high-profile partnerships to support its continued visibility. Stay tuned to YogoSport’s blog and Facebook outlets for regular updates on the Kickstarter campaign’s progress.

YogoSport is dedicated to making yoga easily accessible to everyone, everywhere, at any time. We feature the YogoMat and plan to add similar items that make it easier for you to decide where to practice yoga – after work, in a studio, at home, in a hotel room, or maybe even at the top of a mountain.
