Spring/Summer 2013 collection of clothing and accessories designed by Rihanna

Satin dresses, jersey skirts and dresses with thigh high splits, denim, tensile twill
parkas, crop tops, t-shirts, fine gauge knits, jumpsuits, varsity jackets, ‘barely there’
sandals, ankle boots, rucksacks and snapback caps make up the collection.
Knot detailing is found on t-shirts and dresses while Rihanna’s signature ‘shirt tied
round the waist’ detailing can be found on jumpsuits, knee length skirts and the parkas,
giving a casual vibe to the collection.
Buttery soft leather baseball jacket, fine gauge knit maxi dresses and military
inspired over the knee boots form the Limited Edition Collection with only 200 pieces of
each item being made.
Colour palettes of monochrome, navy and beige with high lights of neon make up the
spring collection, while the summer collection consists of monochrome, red, floral prints,
tie dye and stripes.
The show was styled by Mel Ottenberg, Rihanna’s stylist and Adam Selman, her designer.

The 120 piece collection encompasses spring, which goes on sale on the 5th of March
and summer, which goes on sale in May at selected River Island stores globally and online;
prices start from GBP18. Both collections will also be sold exclusively in the United
States and Japan at Opening Ceremony.
