hmv Canada Plays Key Sponsor Role During JUNO Weekend

As a leading voice of the country’s music industry, the Company is
partnering with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to
sponsor the JUNO Award for “International Album of the Year Award” and
JUNO Fan Fare

TORONTO, Feb. 20, 2013 /CNW/ – hmv Canada, Canada’s premiere retail destination for music and entertainment,
announced today its continued support of The Canadian Academy of
Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and the JUNO Awards through the sponsorship of the 2013 JUNO Fan Fare and the
“International Album of the Year” Award category. This is the second
year in a row hmv Canada has sponsored the award and the first time it
is sponsoring JUNO Fan Fare.  JUNO Week will be held April 15 – 21,
2013 in Regina and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

JUNO Fan Fare will take place on Saturday April 20, 2013 at noon at the
Cornwall Centre in Regina. In the coming weeks, hmv Canada will be
announcing multiple contesting opportunities both nationally and
locally at its Cornwall Centre location via social media, in-store
point of sale, and print advertising and encourages fans to stay
connected to learn more. Prizes will include JUNO Fan Fare wrist bands,
VIP wristbands to JUNO Fan Fare with Green Room access and JUNO weekend
experience packages.
