Pinot’s Palette Signs First Franchise Agreement In Oklahoma City
Former Westmoore High, OSU Student to Open Paint and Sip Studio in Bricktown
HOUSTON, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Pinot’s Palette, a national Paint and Sip franchise known for providing guests with an entertaining evening of art and wine, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with local resident Ashley Gardner to open a studio in Oklahoma City. Located at 115 East California Ave. in Bricktown, the studio is scheduled to open in April and will be the 15(th) studio for Pinot’s Palette nationwide.
Gardner is a graduate of Westmoore High School and attended Oklahoma State University at Oklahoma City. She spent the last three years with Pinot’s Palette’s corporate office in Houston as an artist and franchise artist trainer. Five of the brand’s 10 most popular and successful paintings were developed by Gardner, including the No. 1 painting, Whimsical Fall.
“We are thrilled to expand our footprint in Oklahoma and open a studio in the heart of Oklahoma City’s arts and entertainment district,” said Craig Ceccanti, chief executive officer, Pinot’s Palette. “Ashley’s contributions as both an artist and artist trainer have helped make Pinot’s Palette the success it is and we are confident she will flourish as a franchisee.”
Since its inception in 2009, the Pinot’s Palette mission has been to bring fine art to the masses in a fun way. Guests sign up online to attend a two-hour or three-hour painting class where they are instructed by a local, trained artist on how to recreate the featured painting of the night. Pinot’s Palette provides art supplies, plates and wine glasses, while guests enjoy snacks and cocktails. Franchisees have access to extensive painting libraries of artwork tested for all skill levels, as well as the ability to create their own paintings to respond to guests’ changing taste in artwork and local trends in their respective communities.
“I have always had a passion for art and loved developing new paintings and getting to know our artists at Pinot’s Palette,” said Gardner. “When the opportunity arose to open my own Pinot’s Palette in Oklahoma City, it was a no-brainer. I’m thrilled to be back in my hometown doing what I love to do.”
Pinot’s Palette is poised to expand in cities throughout the country and recently signed a franchise agreement for the brand’s first West Coast studio in San Francisco. Pinot’s Palette currently has locations throughout the Greater Houston Area, as well as in Atlanta, Ga., San Antonio, Texas; Chicago, Ill., Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla., Fort Collins, Colo., Louisville, Ky., Lafayette, La., Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo., and Allen, Texas.
“We are looking for professionals with strong community ties and a passion for creating memorable experiences to help grow the company into new markets,” said Charles Willis, president of Pinot’s Palette. “Our proven systems and extensive corporate support differentiate us from our competitors and make us an ideal franchise opportunity for entrepreneurs looking to bring a strong Paint and Sip concept to their city.”
In addition to pre-opening, training, and ongoing support, franchisees are equipped with Pinot Technology Suite (PTS), an automated communication system designed to streamline administrative tasks. The proprietary PTS system has evolved to be the hub of studio management, integrating all aspects of the business from point of sale transactions, tracking reservations, artist scheduling, payroll and more. Easy-to-use business reporting tools and real-time guest information is readily available at the fingertips of franchisees and employees, allowing the business to run more efficiently.
Pinot’s Palette offers both single and multi-unit development opportunities around the country. Interested parties can contact the corporate office for more information at Franchise@PinotsPalette.com or visit http://www.pinotspalette.com/Franchise.
