Sylvan Learning’s Book Adventure Teams Up with LeapFrog® to Launch New Reading Contest for Children and Families

Individual students and classrooms can participate for a chance to win exciting prizes; Contest runs March 1 through April 1, 2013

BALTIMORE, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — In celebration of National Education Association’s Read Across America and to help cultivate and encourage a love of reading in the new academic year, Sylvan Learning’s Book Adventure is teaming up with LeapFrog, the leader in educational entertainment for kids, to launch a new reading contest with prizes for both individual students and classrooms.

Sylvan Learning, North America’s leading provider of tutoring to students of all ages, grades and skill levels, will run this contest exclusively on Book Adventure from March 1(st) through April 1(st) 2013. Children aged 4-8 can join the contest for a chance to win prizes. Teachers and their classes can participate by joining the Classroom Contest. The prize packages include LeapFrog’s #1 selling* Tag(TM) Reading System and its interactive books that help children learn to read. With Tag, stories spring to life with beloved character voices, exciting sound effects and fun activities to make reading a rich, fulfilling experience.

  • Individual Prizes: TEN individual students who win the contest will receive a LeapFrog prize pack valued at $250 each.
