Elsevier and the American College of Cardiology Announce the Launch of a New Journal JACC: Heart Failure

Christopher O’Connor, MD, FACC will serve as Editor-in-Chief of JACC: Heart Failure.
Each bi-monthly issue will present high-quality content, authored by experts worldwide,

place among the top journals in the world for the understanding of the pathophysiology,
diagnosis, treatment, and care of heart failure patients with the intent to improve our
understanding of the disease, clinical trials, clinical outcomes, and advances in
therapies through scientific communication.

A state-of-the-condition update by Dr. Eugene Braunwald and the breadth of articles
featured in the first issue are an example of the journal’s aims to publish the full range
of topics related to this condition – including basic and translational science, trials
