MOPLA’s Mixed Art Exhibit Women Make the World Go Round, Benefiting Venice Family Clinic, Set for March 29th, 2013

SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Women Make The World Go Round is a MOPLA (Month of Photography L.A.) event featuring women artists in a wide range of art forms. It will be held in Santa Monica for ONE NIGHT ONLY, and showcase Photography, Drawing, Neon/Light Art, Ceramics, Collage, Painting, Sculpture and Woodcuts.

The evening will start with a VIP preview at 5:30pm for donors of the Venice Family Clinic* and will open to the public from 7:00pm-10pm. This is an opportunity to meet the artists, artist and founder Tatiana Botton, and Heather James Fine Art curator Chip Tom. It is a fun and exciting opportunity for aspiring and veteran collectors to acquire work. The exhibition will run March 30th and 31st, from 11-5pm.

Tatiana Botton is a Santa Monica based photographer, and founder of WipFlash and Women Make the World Go Round, whose wide range of work includes celebrity portraits, print advertising, and sweeping landscapes. Tatiana has won many photography competitions such as the Advertising Photographers of America, International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie de Paris, Women In Photography International, Black and White Spider Awards and The Photography Master Cup.

In April 2009, the inaugural Month of Photography Los Angeles (MOPLA) showcased the enormous photography community, inclusive of commercial, fine art and photojournalism. As the second largest photography community in the United States, Los Angeles provides a distinctive backdrop to the celebration of the photographic image.
