Selvas Brings Latest in Mobile Game Innovation to GDC 2013
Newest mobile game titles, Android-to-Tizen app conversion technology
SEOUL, South Korea, March 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Selvas, an innovative mobile social game developing and publishing company, will showcase the latest additions to its acclaimed mobile game lineup and leading publishing capabilities at Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2013. The company will also introduce Polaris App Generator (PAG) for easier Android-to-Tizen application conversion as well as game publishing. Selvas (previously known as Joymoa) is an affiliate company of mobile software solutions leader, INFRAWARE.
Selvas launched Sefirah, an action-packed RPG mobile game, last November to wide popularity with the game’s outstanding graphic performance based on its unique game engine technology. Continuing its innovations, Selvas has lined up six new games in the RPG, Casual, FPS, and SNG genres for release in 2013. In addition to Sefirah, Selvas will display the following new titles at GDC 2013:
- Hello My Friends: Real-life 3D game that users can play with friends
- Cat-ch: Arcade puzzle game featuring fuzzy cat characters
- Hollow Point: Action-packed FPS game and the next step in mobile graphics
In the game publishing sector, Selvas has cultivated strong relationships with gaming companies worldwide. Through its trusted marketing and localization capabilities, Selvas currently publishes over 50 games including the globally well-known titles WINNING Eleven 2012 for Android, Civilization Revolution, and Spectral Souls. Selvas has made these titles available on Korean Google Play, iTunes app store, and other major Korean app stores to great success — with Spectral Souls, for example, ranking No.1 over six months on leading Korean app store, T-store.
True to its reputation as an innovator in mobile software technology, INFRAWARE has also developed Polaris App Generator (PAG) to support the new and rising Tizen platform. PAG is a powerful tool which ports Android apps to Tizen easily and at low cost. With this technology, Selvas plans to provide game generation and publishing services on the Tizen app store for Android developers.
“Our commitment at Selvas is to devotedly meet the needs of our users in every mobile gaming experience,” said Sang Hoon Chi, CEO of Selvas. “Through our reliable and effective publishing skills in localization as well as technical and development operations, Selvas has emerged as a definitive leader in mobile gaming and is now sharing its unique experience with a truly global base of customers.”
