Qorvis Wins Gold and Silver in American Advertising Awards-Washington DC Competition for AAMCO Client
WASHINGTON, March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Qorvis Communications, LLC is pleased to announce that two advertising spots the company created for AAMCO have won the Gold and Silver categories in the American Advertising Awards-Washington DC competition. The DC Ad Club presented its 2013 ADDY® Awards recognizing advertising creative excellence on Wednesday, March 13 at the Almas Temple in Washington, DC.
AAMCO’s “Trust” commercial picked up Gold, while the “We Hear You 50(th) Anniversary” spot received the Silver award. The “Trust” commercial will go on to compete against other winning entries from District Two.
The Qorvis Creative team built these particular ads in celebration of AAMCO’s 50th anniversary.

Qorvis enters its fifth year as the advertising agency of record for AAMCO, working with the National Creative Committee of its National AAMCO Dealers Association.
The competition received 686 entries from 99 agencies, design firms, in-house marketing departments, freelancers, interactive firms, production companies, PR firms, and students. A panel of nine judges–general market and interactive–was convened to review and score the entries based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. Winning entries were honored with Gold and Silver ADDY® Awards, along with Best of Category, Best in Public Service, Special Judges Awards, and Best of Show Awards.
The ADDY® Awards Competition is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), its chapters, and districts. With 40,000 entries nationwide, the ADDY® Awards Competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. Winners from the American Advertising Awards-Washington DC competition will go on to compete against other winning entries from District Two, which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Washington, DC.
