Eight Chicagoland Locations to Celebrate the Arrival of Stores Dedicated to the Chicago Sports Fan
INDIANAPOLIS, March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The LIDS retail division, a multi-channel business unit of Indianapolis-based LIDS Sports Group, will be holding a week-long Grand Opening across its eight Chicago Locker Room by LIDS locations across the Chicagoland area starting on April 1. Each of these stores is specifically merchandised to cater to the Chicago sports fan and includes a large assortment of apparel, headwear and novelties of every locally favored professional and college team.

With locations in Woodfield, Orland Square, Lincolnwood, River Oaks, Gurnee Mills, Geneva Commons, Stratford Square and Clybourn Avenue, Chicago Locker Room by LIDS are conveniently located across the area. In partnership with New Era and Majestic Athletic, each of these locations will be participating in the Grand Opening which will include daily giveaways as well as opportunities for shoppers to win tickets to Chicago Cubs and White Sox games.
During the week, the Clybourn Avenue location will also host two athlete appearances. On Tuesday, April 2, Andrew Shaw of the Chicago Blackhawks will be in store from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to meet fans and sign autographs. Nate Robinson of the Chicago Bulls will be on location on Saturday, April 6 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. to sign autographs and visit with fans as well.
