Top Hat Monocle Announces Executive Appointments with Ralf Riekers Appointed Chief Financial Officer and Malgosia Green Chief Product Officer
Mr. Riekers Previously Grew SaaS Firm Eloqua to over $100 Million in Revenue and an $810 Million Acquisition – Ms. Green Leading Product Roadmap for Company’s Classroom Participation Tools
TORONTO, April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Top Hat Monocle, a provider of technology-based classroom and homework innovations, today announced the appointment of two new members of its executive team. SaaS industry veteran Ralf Riekers joins the firm as Chief Financial Officer and educational industry executive Malgosia Green takes on the role of Chief Product Officer.
Mr. Riekers will use his experience to manage relationships with venture capitalists, handle the company’s finances and improve its back-end processes. “Top Hat Monocle is a fast-growing and disruptive company and I want to use my expertise to help it grow even faster and move to the next level in market reach and revenues,” commented Mr. Riekers.
Ms. Green will hold responsibility for the company’s entire product road map and will work closely with the development, account management, and marketing teams. Mr. Riekers was the first employee at Eloqua, a marketing automation SaaS provider that he guided through an IPO and recent acquisition by Oracle. During his more than 12 years with the firm he managed a variety of areas including finance, operations, product deployment, and customer operations.
In 2007 Ms. Green founded and operated as the CEO of Savvica, an India-based firm that offered online marketing services for educational institutions that guides students in India and the U.S. to find the right schools to meet their needs. Prior to Savvica, Ms. Green was the Director of Product Management for Affinity Labs.
