Bull Burger Battles Announced as World Food Championships Automatic Qualifiers

NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Competitors in this year’s World Burger Championship at the World Food Championships better learn how to tame a Bull. And that’s no bull!

Bull Outdoor® Products and the World Food Championships announced today a qualifying process that will send six field-tested burger chefs from across the country into the World Burger Championship as part of “Team Bull.” The Bull Burger Battle competition events will involve about 100 “backyard pros” competing for the six coveted spots in local outdoor burger grilling competitions throughout America, including cities like San Diego, Baton Rouge, Chicago, and Indianapolis.

“This is an exciting opportunity to partner with the World Food Championships and place Bull Outdoor Products at the forefront of championship culinary competitions,” commented Mark Nurredine, owner of Bull Outdoor Products. “We’re going to test the skills of grillers everywhere and then back them in the competition with a free trip to Las Vegas and entry to compete at the World Food Championships.”

The Bull Burger Battles will pit 24 grillers, in each local competition, against each other in a head-to-head, high heat and high stakes grill-off to find some of the country’s best burger cooks. Fans and attendees are invited to watch the cooks and chefs square off for food supremacy and try to earn their spot to represent Bull Outdoor Products at the World Food Championships. Winners from each of the Bull Burger Battles will compete in the World Burger Championship at the World Food Championships.

The World Food Championships is a 4-day event comprised of multiple competition categories where hundreds of America’s best culinary masters will square off in the heart of Las Vegas for fame and part of the $300,000 prize purse.
