Fans can catch four complete episodes featuring Shane Smith and his correspondents on VICE.com.
NEW YORK, Aug. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Shane Smith, VICE founder and the host of the HBO series VICE, announced today that four full episodes of the Emmy-nominated series will premiere on VICE.com. The episodes will be available to both HBO subscribers and non-subscribers. Following the recent conclusion of its first season on HBO, the VICE series, which features Shane Smith and his team of correspondents, has begun rolling out episodes on VICE.com for fans to enjoy. The startling and groundbreaking news series was recently renewed by HBO for a second season.
Shane Smith said, “As I write this, we are hunkered down in a Tatooine-esque guest house in Kandahar, unable to move anywhere because of a month long dust storm, and things have become a bit odd. It might be the Xanax or it might be the crippling jet lag, but I have become a bit emotional upon hearing that HBO has let us run our VICE episodes on Vice.com as a beneficent nod to our fanatical viewers and our Emmy nomination. I love you HBO. No other network would do that. I also love our audience who supported us all season: you are beautiful. I also love the Emmys for being nice enough to nominate us in our rookie season. It’s hard being so in love here amongst the dust, and the feces, and the Taliban. But I am. I am filled with it.”
